It's hard to describe Rome in a few words. A city so vast and rich in art,
monuments and exquisite views, a historic city, which has preserved its
charm and independence throughout the centuries.

If you ask 10 people what their favorite country is in Europe, our
guess is that 8 of them will say Italy. You can eat great food, talk to
friendly people, and shop for the latest fashions; see some of the ancient
world’s most famous ruins, like the Forum in Rome and the ancient city
of Pompeii; immerse yourself in the Renaissance in Florence
and be part of living history in Venice.

This is the land of Leonardo and Michelangelo, of Caesar and the
Popes. And whether you are drawn to the treasure trove of artwork,
the incredible architecture, the religious significance, the gorgeous
scenery, the wonderful pasta, or all of the above, Italy, with its sense
of la dolce vita, is bound to deliver.

Rome is a city that provides something for everyone. Whether it is the
Coliseum or other historic monuments, art and architecture lovers are
always drawn to the place. Historians, food lovers, religious leaders
and tourists are all attracted to this small city all through the year.

Tourists always have options of connecting flights and weekend
break flights to Rome. When traveling by air, it is not always necessary
to book a direct flight. Another effective method of finding cheap flights
is to book a European round-trip ticket. It comes at a reduced price
and allows a tourist to visit the more than one city in Europe on the
same ticket. Tourist turnout in July and August is lower than the rest
if the year because of the hot and humid climate. Those looking for
cheap flights should cash in on this period as hefty discounts are
    offered by airlines.

Experienced international air travelers know that most of their flight plans
these days go smoothly, departing and arriving within a reasonable
margin of the schedule with relatively minor hassles.

Addressing a press conference, the airlines Executive Vice-President,
Mr Armando Brunini, said that the airlines would operate an Airbus
A-330 aircraft that would offer 286 seats in each direction.

It’s not quite as simple as flying into Rome airport, however.
The Italian capital has two airports, and some airlines go to Fiumicino
also known as Leonardo Da Vinci airport while others go to Ciampino.
Knowing which flights go to which is pretty important when it comes to
    getting into the city.

Ciampino is the closest airport to the centre of Rome, but it’s harder to
get to and from. The cheapest way is getting the Terravision bus,
which is timed to coincide with arrivals and departures. That drops
passengers off at the Termini station in central Rome.

Most of the budget airlines flying to Rome from all over Europe
including cities such as Prague, Barcelona, Berlin, Vienna and Geneva
fly to Rome Fiumicino. These include Air Berlin, Air Baltic, Skyeurope,
Aer Lingus, BluExpress, Condor, Transavia and Norwegian Air.
